Instead of giving you the same chicken, tuna and boiled vegetable diet, we at Excelerate Fitness take a different approach to nutrition. Firstly we do not believe in dieting unless truly necessary, instead we look at you as an individual. The first step is for us to look at your current eating habits. We do this by giving you a 1 week food diary which when completed gives us a better understand of where we are in regards to you reaching your fitness goal. We will then educate you on nutrition specific to your goal so we can change your eating habits.
We will firstly 'clean up' your current eating habits and then we will start to manipulate the structure of your meals. We will do this by focusing on your daily Carbohydrate, Fat and Protein consumption required for you to achieve your fitness goal.
This is an ongoing process made up of fortnightly food diaries that we will ask you to keep as we believe it is easier to stick to if these changes are made gradually over time.
Once we have done this you will have more knowledge and awareness of nutrition and thus will be in a position to make better choices with what you and your family eat.
